Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a growing company near Driffield, East Riding, they are looking for an IT Infrastructure and Security Manager.

The Role To design, deliver and support the core technologies and lead the internal Infrastructure and operations team. This exciting role is a key part in shaping our future as the company continues to invest in secure, reliable, stable, and scalable technologies.

The role-holder will have a passion for technology, innovation, and Information Security and bring the skills, experience, and drive to provide management and leadership within a modern workplace whilst working alongside IT department colleagues and key stakeholders across the group businesses.

Technically hands-on when needed, the successful candidate will ensure the effective operation of all infrastructure elements and regulatory and industry standards, whilst proactively reviewing, evaluating and recommending new technologies to ensure the infrastructure can fully satisfy the current and future needs.

Duties Maintain, Develop, Optimise, Monitor and Secure the Group IT infrastructure for both on-premises and cloud resources. Adopt best practice principles and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and accreditation bodies. Lead the Infrastructure team, providing guidance, coaching and development opportunities. Promote a positive, proactive attitude to ensure the team evolves to support business growth and deliver business objective aligned solutions. Inspire a customer focused and service excellence ethic across the team and foster a knowledge sharing and continuous improvement culture. Ensure all infrastructure documentation is fit for purpose and fully maintained. Manage helpdesk activities requiring infrastructure resource expertise to fulfil obligations (SLA's) and ensure a high standard of service delivery. Manage all infrastructure projects (including budgets) and provide management reports to promote the visibility of activities across the function. Monitor emerging technologies and emerging industry trends. Own and develop the infrastructure roadmap and change management process to modernise the technology landscape, mitigate risks and deliver projects efficiently and effectively. Manage and develop the protection of digital assets including security, backup / recovery and disaster recovery processes and align the solutions with business objectives. Maintain all infrastructure assets and manage relationships with vendors and external service providers to secure infrastructure products and services.

Skills and Experience Essential: Proven experience / track record of managing IT infrastructure and security operations, with strong Organisational and Team Leadership skills. Excellent communication skills to convey complex architecture and solutions in technical and user-friendly terms. Excellent technical knowledge across Networking, Cloud and Hosting Technologies, Domain Services, Server operating systems, Storage, Virtualisation, Database Technologies, Endpoint Protection and the 365 stack. Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong understanding of Cyber Security including technologies, principles, processes and compliance - including Pen Testing. Strong understanding of backup and recovery technologies. Strong knowledge of vendor licensing models. Experience with disaster recovery planning and simulation (or execution). Knowledge of Data Privacy and Laws. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Microsoft Accreditations. VMware Accreditations. Extension knowledge of Enterprise Mobility. Experience with Cloud VoIP Solutions. Experience with ERP solutions. Knowledge of Database Administration. Experience with Cloud Based Mail Archiving. Cyber security Qualifications. ITIL Certification. Current driving license.
