Job Description This role focuses on supporting the firm's transition to cloud computing (MS Azure) and facilitating hybrid work environments through virtual desktop infrastructure (Citrix/Azure). The specialist will work with the IT helpdesk team to resolve technical issues, assist with system upgrades, and develop processes to accommodate business changes.

Key responsibilities include cloud migration, providing technical support, stress testing systems, assisting with software selection, training end users, and managing the IT infrastructure budget. Assist with migration to Microsoft Azure. Support hybrid working through Citrix/Azure VDI technologies. Collaborate with helpdesk for software platform support. Conduct stress testing and assist with system upgrades. Develop processes for business changes and provide training. Resolve escalated technical issues and collaborate with vendors. Provide data, statistics, and assist with budget management. The Successful Applicant Experience & Background: 5+ years of commercial IT experience , with a proven track record in managing and supporting IT infrastructures. Hands-on experience

with

hybrid cloud technologies , including

Microsoft Azure

and

Microsoft 365 . Exposure to Citrix Cloud

and

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

technology is a plus but not required Experience in networking , including

LANs

and

SD-WAN connectivity . Experience with backup and business continuity

implementations, ensuring reliable data protection and recovery strategies. Professional services experience

is desirable, particularly in consulting or client-facing roles.

who can explain complex technical concepts to end users in a clear and approachable way. Experience in designing and delivering training

to end users, ensuring they can effectively use new technologies and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
