City St George’s is undertaking a significant piece of work to identify, scope and deliver an appropriate IT provision for the newly merged institution. This will necessarily require consideration of the various IT systems, platform and services that already exist from the two legacy organisations and the action required to enable the merged organisation to run and perform as effectively as possible in the near term and longer term. A programme has been formed within the IT Department to deliver this work. Responsibilities
Accountable for successfully delivering the IT & Digital Convergence Workstream (which will be run as a programme) including full ownership of the programme delivery lifecycle: planning, risk/issue management, dependency management, resource management, reporting on progress, resource management and governance. The role holder will be expected to work proactively to identify and develop a programme roadmap with stakeholder engagement and buy-in identifying what will be delivered and when during the course of the programme. The role holder will be expected to have considerable relevant programme management experience, including experience with mergers. Specifically, this will include experience of assessing technology systems and solutions in legacy institutions and working with the newly formed organisation to develop and agree the solutions required for them post merger. Additionally, demonstrable experience of working within complex organisational environments will be required, as will the ability to comprehensively manage wide ranging internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers.
