This role is crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect various systems and applications within the organisation, ensuring seamless data flow and communication between disparate systems to enhance overall business efficiency and performance. The ITS Integrations Specialist will be responsible for formulating, maintaining, and evolving the firm's Integrations Strategy, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Other key responsibilities include: Integration Requirements:

Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translating them into technical specifications. Working closely with other parts of the IT team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications. Technical Support:

Providing technical support and troubleshooting for integration issues. Maintaining documentation for integration processes and solutions. Performance Monitoring:

Continuously monitoring and improving integration performance and reliability. Performing unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and functionality of integration solutions. Technology Trends:

Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in integration and recommending improvements. Technical skills

Significant proven experience in developing and managing integration solutions, with a strong preference for Boomi skills (certification preferred), although experience with other Enterprise Service Bus platforms such as Microsoft BizTalk Server will also be considered. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and PowerShell. Experience of integrating various Enterprise class platforms, both on privately hosted (Virtual, PaaS, IaaS) and Cloud (SaaS) platforms. Extensive experience of consuming APIs and using tools like SOAPUI, Postman and Curl for integration development and testing. Also, a core understanding of modern API concepts, authentication methodology (OAuth, SAML, JWT) and common protocols (SOAP, REST, GraphQL and OData). Experience in troubleshooting and resolving integration issues. Experience in working in a collaborative team environment and managing multiple integration projects simultaneously, whilst acting as the lead engineer in integrations aspects of those projects. Understanding of ETL (Extract Translation and Load) principles and preferably experience of manipulating data for movement between systems. Familiarity with various data formats (XML, JSON, etc.) and data transformation techniques. Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server (or equivalent) and strong skills with SQL. Understanding of source control and version management best practices. Understanding of network protocols and security best practices related to integrations. Hands-on knowledge and experience of the following classes of Software Solutions: Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Financial/Practice Management Systems, Document Management Systems, Reporting Solutions. Ability to maintain confidential information and work in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative organisation.
