We have an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT Manager to join a fabulous company based in Greenhithe, Kent. The role holder will manage the IT systems, including infrastructure, operations, communications, applications, and project delivery. IT Manager’s Core Duties Operational management including service desk Manage and mentor IT staff including appraisals and performance reviews Develop an organisational IT strategy Implement IT projects Manage IT security Maintain and update IT policies and procedures Responsible for the administration of all IT systems and equipment, inclusive of mobile devices Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans Work with suppliers and service providers IT Manager’s Key Requirements At least 5 years’ solid IT experience Proven experience of managing a multi-faceted IT department Experience managing and developing IT staff Budget management experience Knowledge of physical and virtual servers Experience with cyber security / Anti-virus software / data backups Experience creating IT policies and procedures Experience carrying out Office 365 support and configuration Experience supporting all hardware and software within a business Excellent communication skills Experience managing IT projects IT Manager’s Desirable Skills & Experience Windows/Apple/Linux client and server operating system Networking/LAN/VLAN/WAN experience Experience administering a virtualised environment Experience supporting and managing multi-layer backup systems Experience administering cloud-based systems Tech Onsite: Operating systems: Windows 10 and Windows 11 client operating systems Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 operating systems Ubuntu/Debian Linux operating systems iOS/Android mobile operating systems VMWare virtualisation environments Networking: HP Procurve L2/L3/VLAN switching HP FlexFabric switching Aruba WIFI Cisco Linksys Storage: Synology QNAP Telephony: Avaya Apple iPhone SIP trunking Are you enthusiastic about the IT Manager’s Job?
