Job Responsibilities:

The applicant shall provide hardware and software system administration on all government computers, servers, fax machines, satellite receivers, switches, routers, printers, Smartboards, projectors, and other peripherals critical to the proper function of base education center technology systems. The applicant shall provide maintenance on the education center web page, including updating links, building pages, and linking appropriate documents and databases. The applicant shall implement any new systems (software/hardware) as required. The applicant shall provide all networking architecture recommendations and networking support to improve the network as directed. The applicant shall establish procedures for safeguarding all critical data. The applicant shall assist the director in research and purchase of all information systems and components required to improve the existing structure. The applicant shall assist office personnel in the resolution of computer-related problems. Qualification: The applicant shall have current information assurance certification. Education/Experience: The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in both hardware and software applications.
