Responsibilities:

Provide mentorship and guidance to the IT team, fostering growth and promoting a collaborative work environment. Plan work assignments and manage the team's day-to-day operations, ensuring a people-first approach. Regularly communicate with studio leadership and stakeholders, providing clear updates on IT operations, projects, and improvements. Oversee the onboarding, offboarding, and general IT user experience to ensure smooth interactions with IT systems. Identify training and development opportunities for the IT team to maintain a high standard of service. Manage and maintain the studio's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and performance. Plan and implement improvements to IT systems and processes to meet the evolving needs of the studio. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, licensing, and risk management protocols. Administer and troubleshoot systems, including Windows endpoints, Active Directory, Azure, and Linux virtual machines. Oversee network reliability and security, utilising features like VLANs, QoS, and Radius. Deploy and maintain development tools and services, such as Perforce and TeamCity. Manage supplier and service provider relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and versatile IT professional to join Wushu Studios as an IT Manager. This role requires a balanced approach, blending team leadership and hands-on technical expertise to maintain and improve the studio's IT infrastructure. You will shape an effective and efficient IT department that prioritises reliability, security, and user satisfaction, while also fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for your team. Qualifications:

Proven experience in an IT Management role with a blend of team leadership and hands-on responsibilities. Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., ITIL, CCNP, or equivalent) are desirable. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including endpoint management, networking, and cloud services. Experience with hybrid Azure Active Directory and M365 environments. Practical knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including endpoint management, firewalls, and emerging threats. Familiarity with supporting development tools and environments, particularly in the AAA videogame or related media content industries. Effective communicator with strong process documentation skills. Ability to work autonomously and adapt to the changing needs of the business. Benefits:
