Are you looking for an IT role with a difference? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and optimize our IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of our growing business. You will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure. You will ensure the stability, performance, and security of our systems, networks, and servers, while managing a team of technical professionals. Your role will involve strategic planning to support future business growth and improve operational efficiency through technology. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, installation, and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure to meet operational needs. Lead and manage a team of IT specialists responsible for system administration, network management, and infrastructure support. Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards related to infrastructure management. Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring maximum uptime and availability. Implement and manage disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity in case of a system failure or cyberattack. Track and report on infrastructure costs, working with our infrastructure partners to recommend suitable solutions/improvements that are effective and in line with the IT Strategy. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels are met. Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve IT infrastructure and align with business goals. Ensure compliance with security policies, industry regulations, and data protection standards. To thrive in this role, you’ll need: Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience operating in a retail environment. Strong technical expertise in network management, system administration, and server management (Windows). Experience with cloud technologies (Azure) and virtualization (Nutanix/VMWare). Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security measures. Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects and teams effectively. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Set standards and documentation for office connectivity, LAN, Wi-Fi, and physical setups, contributing to office moves and refurbishments. Familiarity with ITIL, network security, and asset management. Leadership experience with a focus on team development and mentoring by setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. A Full UK Driving License.
