Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking manufacturing company, is seeking an IT Manager to join their team. The role will involve implementing and maintaining infrastructure systems and networking structures as well as leading and supporting the IT team comprised of two employees with various projects. If you are passionate about technology and have a proven track record in IT management, we want to hear from you. Main Duties of the IT Manager:

Assess departmental requirements, identify weaknesses, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to support business decisions. Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of network components to meet business needs while staying updated on new features. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for necessary upgrades and monitor vendors to ensure they provide the best service and value for business needs. Train employees in software and hardware usage, troubleshoot issues, and offer technical support as needed. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and maintain data backups. Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and other support staff as required. Plan and oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Ensure IT systems and data security through the implementation of cybersecurity measures, policies, and practices in line with GDPR. Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology requirements and provide effective solutions and support. The ideal IT Manager will have the following skills and abilities:

Background in IT management. Technical knowledge in systems administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations. Working knowledge with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM). Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and industry-specific requirements. Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001) and risk management practices. The company:
