We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Procurement Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for the IT and Technology category at Simon Kucher globally, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality IT services, software, and hardware at the best possible value. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT procurement processes, market trends, supplier management, and negotiation techniques. How you will create impact: Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for the IT category to optimize cost savings, quality, and supplier performance. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential suppliers, and innovative solutions within the IT industry. Partner with IT/Technology Leadership to align strategic IT initiatives with procurement strategies and business objectives. Understand the IT supplier contract portfolio to identify synergy opportunities, expiring contracts, and optimization needs. Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and conditions. In partnership with IT leadership, manage supplier relationships and performance through regular reviews, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the IT category. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the IT supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational risks. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices, supplier selection, and contract management. Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in IT procurement to maintain a competitive advantage. Your profile: Graduate, with relevant certification (e.g. CSCP, CPSM) being a plus. Extensive experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management roles, preferably in a multinational organization. Deep understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications. Knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing practices. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and driving cost savings initiatives. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct financial analysis, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent project management, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable to change with a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change within the organization. What we offer:
