We have a current opportunity for an IT Procurement Manager on a permanent basis.
Roles and Responsibilities
Mentor and develop the IT procurement team, supporting skill development and career growth within the team. Establish and implement global IT procurement policies, ensuring they meet organisational goals. Collaborate with the IT Sourcing Specialist to support day-to-day procurement activities and optimise sourcing workflows. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating optimal terms and creating a preferred supplier programme. Oversee IT purchasing and manage the timely delivery of hardware, software and services in line with Technical Services standards. Improve procurement workflows and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. Track market trends and supplier landscapes throughout the year. Provide regular updates on project timelines, spending and market conditions. Identify and share cost saving opportunities for hardware, software/services with senior management. Apply risk management strategies for contracts, commitments to purchase or any verbal agreements. Build and maintain a global IT product catalogue in collaboration with IT Logistics. Skills Required Essential
