As a Senior Managing Consultant – IT Procurement, you will lead projects working closely with our clients across various industries to deliver successful outcomes such as cost and risk reduction, improved service outcomes and measures, increased efficiencies and improved vendor relationships. This role offers a challenging opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced consulting environment. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, strong strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of IT Procurement best practices We are seeking experienced IT Procurement professionals; previous consultancy experience is not required. What You'll Do: Build and strengthen relationships with senior IT Procurement clients to enhance satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.

Lead impactful client meetings, presenting project progress, discussing deliverables, and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with Delivery Directors to define project scopes and outcomes for IT procurement, ensuring clear resource requirements and alignment with client expectations.

Partner with clients to develop and implement IT Procurement category and project strategies, delivering tangible value through our procurement solutions and process improvements.

Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to influence decision-making for IT Procurement activities, driving success and operational efficiencies.

Nurture and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Design and execute negotiation strategies that maximise value from IT vendors while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Provide expert insights on IT contract terms, guiding clients on best practices and securing advantageous agreements with technology providers.

Develop and execute contract mobilisation plans, providing commercial governance and assurance for clients.

Mentor and develop junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth in IT procurement practices.

Evaluate IT procurement processes to identify areas for improvement, implementing innovative solutions for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

Support client management teams with strategic procurement expertise, driving informed decision-making for cost-effective IT outcomes.

What We’re Looking For: Proven expertise in IT procurement processes and best practices, with a strong understanding of technology market trends.

Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of success in securing favourable contracts and pricing agreements with IT vendors.

Outstanding communication skills, capable of presenting complex IT procurement strategies clearly to various stakeholders.

Strong strategic thinking abilities, with experience in developing and implementing effective IT procurement strategies.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, evaluate procurement processes, and suggest optimisations.

Experienced in IT contract management, adept at overseeing the contract lifecycle and negotiation.

Project management proficiency with the capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple IT procurement projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of current IT market trends and established supplier relationships to maintain a competitive edge.
