My client is a growing MSP based in Oxford and due to continued growth, they are looking to add an IT Project Engineer to their team.
The IT Project Engineer will be responsible for project planning, engineering, and management tasks to optimise IT systems for clients. You will need to be highly organised and have strong communication skills as you will collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
Identify IT solutions to problems with the guidance of Projects Manager Assist with writing proposal documents Assist with management of projects with the guidance of Projects Manager Liaise with customer stakeholders to provide timely updates on project status Liaise with customer end users as needed for training and handover
Essential Skills
Microsoft 365: Exchange Online SharePoint/OneDrive Intune Entra ID Knowledge of business backup software (e.g. Veeam) On-premise Windows Server systems: Active Directory / Windows DHCP inc failover / DNS Hyper-V Strong grounding of networking, including: IP addressing and subnetting Switching and routing VLANs
You will need a vehicle to be considered for this position as you will be attending client sites.
