OVERALL SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager, specialising in Cloud technology migrations, and Microsoft 365/Azure products. The PM will also need a broad knowledge of IT delivery across the whole spectrum. The role will be managing multiple workstreams that input into the outcome of the IT portfolio reporting into the IT Programme Manager. The individual will be someone who thrives on being an integral member of the delivery team who uses delivery experience to guide delivery teams to the right outcomes for end users and clients as well as pure technical delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES Excellent stakeholder management skills with a passion for communicating a clear message to diverse stakeholders with different viewpoints Support the programme manager with reporting, documentation and collateral for multiple governance and steering committees Manage projects within the programme’s defined governance model and process Perform the relevant project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, reporting, stakeholder management as defined in the overarching governance model Has the ability to multi task – running multiple inputs at any one time Ability to facilitate, negotiate and present technical complex problems to non-technical audiences Must possess the ability to define, agree, govern, manage and control scope Manage project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project to within the defined programme timelines Perform gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with programme manager Regulatory Responsibilities (Compliance/T&C) To adhere to the relevant Asset Management division policies, including those on conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment at all times. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE: Exceptional & demonstrable project management experience Experience within the financial services industry is preferable Knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques e.g. RAIDS, budget, communication Demonstrable experience in the implementation of IT projects within a technically complex and dynamic environments Understanding of delivery frameworks such as AGILE, PRINCE and WATERFALL Skills and Attributes Organisational and planning skills Exceptional reporting and presentation skills Analytical skills Exceptional interpersonal skills Ownership and accountability Numeracy skills Strong communication, both written and verbal Integrity & Honesty Team Player As an employer, Close Brothers Asset Management is committed to equality and valuing diversity within its workforce.
