The role As an IT Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Day-to-day, you’ll ensure the implementation of structured project management processes to ensure the effective delivery of business value from IT projects. Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments Direct and monitor work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers, maintaining a full set of documentation as required by the IT Project Management Process for each project Assist the Portfolio Manager and Business Relationship Manager in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritise opportunities for business improvement This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and offers mostly remote working, with minimal office attendance from one of our UK hubs e.g. Plymouth, Rosyth, Warrington, Leicester, Bristol, Portsmouth etc.

This role does require occasional travel to our customer sites across the UK. Essential experience of the IT Project Manager: Experienced IT professional, focused on being a part of a cost-effective and efficient project delivery team Both Infrastructure and Application Project Management experience is desirable Microsoft Project experience essential (and Project Server preferred) Experience of managing 4/5 projects simultaneously Qualifications for the IT Project Manager: PRINCE/APM or equivalent certification Certified Scrum Master, AgilePM certified or equivalent Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
