About The Role

This role is critical in ensuring the protection of our organisation's information assets, maintaining compliance with data protection regulations, and defending against cyber threats. The IT Security and Data Protection Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security and data protection measures, policies, and practices to safeguard sensitive information. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute an IT security and data protection strategy aligned with the organisation's business objectives. Create, review, and update security policies, procedures, and standards. Identify potential security risks, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor the threat landscape, staying informed about emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or other industry-specific requirements. Maintain records and documentation to demonstrate compliance efforts. Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement or third-party incident response teams when necessary. Create accompanying business continuity (BCP) plans. Conduct employee security training and awareness programs. Manage the IT security and data protection budget, ensuring cost-effective security solutions. Implement security monitoring tools and technologies to detect and respond to security incidents. Investigate and analyse security breaches and incidents. What Wren Offer:

Essential Skills & Knowledge: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent. Understanding of EDR and XDR platforms and technologies. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT security and data protection. Understanding of data protection regulations and cybersecurity best practices. Strong knowledge of security tools, technologies, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and manage cross-functional teams. Strong project management and organisational skills. About The Company
