Job Description You will be working within a very strong technical support function as a Service Support Lead overseeing 2 members of staff. You will also be working within a company that really invests in their people in terms of training and development long term. What you will bring to the role: Supporting junior members of the IT team with both Service Desk and Application Support issues day to day, and ensuring the staff are motivated and working within a manner that is consistent with the companies' values. Improving service delivery and response times, ensuring overall efficiency and smooth running of the service desk. Maintaining the service desk ensuring it is in line with ITIL framework using HALO for managing ITSM processes and for the population of pulling together management information. Working with service providers, Cyber Security Specialists and internal Application and Infrastructure teams ensuring all IT staff are working in partnership with them to ensure a smooth running of the service desk for all staff members within the business. Coaching, mentoring and appraisals of the IT Support team identifying areas in which they require support or development whilst clearly communicating the job expectations to them. Strong exposure to M365 and Azure is a must. The Successful Applicant This Service Support Lead role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for development, working with junior members of staff in order to train and develop them. This role is very hands-on so the successful candidate must be extremely technical, and willing to roll their sleeves up and support the team day to day. You will have ITIL experience also.
