The MBE Programme will streamline and simplify core processes, provide easier access to quality business data and will invest in the right technology to enable these processes. Why is this exciting for your career as a IT Service Transition Lead? The MBE Programme presents a huge opportunity for colleagues across the technology function to play a central role in the design, shape, delivery and execution of an enterprise-wide digital transformation programme. The complexity of the initiative, within a FTSE 250 business, will allow for large-scale problem solving, group wide impact assessment and supporting the delivery of an enablement project to future proof the business. You will provide a comprehensive project coordination and business support service for senior leaders in operations to enable them to lead and contribute to multiple projects and initiatives by designing and implementing a programme of updates and milestones which addresses competing priorities and diary conflicts. What you'll be doing: Plan and coordinate the transition of new or changed IT services into live operation Develop and maintain service transition plans, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational readiness Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Architecture, Delivery, IT Operations, and other stakeholders Manage risks and issues associated with service transition, escalating where necessary Ensure that all necessary documentation, processes and procedures are in place for the new or changed service Oversee the implementation of service acceptance criteria and ensure that new or changed services meet agreed service levels Contribute to the continuous improvement of service transition processes and procedures What we’re looking for: Proven experience in a service transition role within an IT environment Strong understanding of ITIL framework, particularly service transition principles Experience in planning and managing service transitions, including risk management and stakeholder management Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Prince2, Agile) Desirable ITIL 4 foundation certification Experience with Freshservice or any other service management tools Knowledge of various IT Infrastructure components and technologies Experience of working within a Cloud environment and SaaS providers (e.g. AWS, Azure) What you'll get in return: Competitive salary and job-related benefits Holidays Car Allowance Annual Target Bonus Pension up to 8% matched Life insurance up to 4x salary PMI Cover Company share save scheme Greencore Qualifications Exclusive Greencore employee discount platform Access to a full Wellbeing Centre platform Throughout your time at Greencore, you will be supported with on the job training and development opportunities to further your career.
