IT Site Support Engineer Our Role As a Site Support Engineer, you will provide technical support services across our UK sites. In this role, you will facilitate new site deployments and mobilizations as well as offering general IT support. Key Responsibilities Be responsible for the setup and maintenance of remote site networks as well as the documentation of those networks. Work closely with the service desk team and help by resolving and supporting issues whilst onsite at any of the remote offices. Liaise with the service desk to ensure that any support need is fulfilled whilst on the sites. Ensure that all hardware is configured and ready to deploy at sites in accordance with build specification and customer requirements. Ensure that all network devices are configured in accordance with best practice security requirements and Network Plus build specifications and pre-tested. Work as part of a team to achieve results on first-time fix whilst attending site. Help and support for all customers; taking time to ensure all customers’ needs are met and strive to exceed customers’ expectation levels through great service. Comply with all systems, procedures and processes; so that the company and customer information is accurate. Work in line with Service Level Agreements delivering the requirements of Network Plus, ensuring that targets are met. Deal with priority one incidents; escalating where necessary to 3rd line support and IT management. Keep current with the latest desktop and mobile and network technology. Experience and Qualifications Full clean UK driving license. Desktop and Server operating systems, Hardware, Mobile phone technology, Network hardware configuration and troubleshooting, Wireless network Systems, Printing technologies. A very analytical mind, able to tackle a problem from different angles and make decisions quickly. Strong communication - good written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
