The IT Solutions Consultant will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales process including fact-finding, discussions, solution design, technical specification, Pre-Sales proposals and tender responses. This role requires an exceptional understanding of the Microsoft 365/Azure/Windows IT Portfolio, alongside complementary products including (but not exclusively) Acronis, Microsoft Defender, Mimecast and N-able. Additionally, you will be responsible for: Engaging with clients to understand and capture their requirements and create a plan for appropriate methods and timescales for the required work Validating client designs to ensure they meet the needs of the business Building a strong working relationship with the sales team, ensuring they understand the client’s requirements to create a relevant solution and service offering Capturing and documenting business and technical requirements for clients and validating the design principles Salary: £65-£75k DOE 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays Embrace the freedom of remote work combined with the engaging experience of visiting client sites. You will have the following experience/skills: A minimum of 5 years industry/manufacturer experience including product related qualifications for installations and ongoing support technology solutions Previous experience working in a Pre-Sales/Solution Design Consultant role is essential Any experience working on large tender opportunities with a bid management team is advantageous Microsoft certified in M365 and Azure ecosystem Microsoft certified with experience of Windows Server and PC Experience with Microsoft Teams Experience with Acronis, Microsoft Defender, Mimecast and N-able Knowledge of Cloud computing solutions (Azure, VMWare, Hyper-V) Experience with CyberSecurity Technologies (EDR and XDR etc) is desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions in a simplistic manner to end users, departmental heads and C-level directors Your exclusive benefits
