Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software systems, as well as excellent communication skills to assist users effectively. Responsibilities Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including software troubleshooting and hardware malfunctions. Assist users with operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux environments. Manage computer networking tasks, including VPN setup and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Utilise ServiceNow for ticket management and tracking of user requests. Perform desktop support duties, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently. Conduct regular maintenance checks on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical issues and provide clear solutions. Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of user interactions. Skills Proficient in Mac OS, Windows, and Linux operating systems. Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and practices. Experience in software troubleshooting across various applications. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is advantageous. Competence in setting up and managing VPN connections. Excellent desktop support skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to diagnose and repair computer hardware issues effectively. Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
