This role reports directly into the IT Manager, creating a small team to support an ever-growing business. As such you will get your hands on all hardware, server, applications and some dev tech. The full 360! Roles & Responsibilities:
Providing desktop support which will include solving and closing tickets Assisting with onsite hardware support and mobile devices Infrastructure maintenance Maintaining operating systems ensuring they are up to date and patched Hosting IT workshops with internal staff IT procurement and printer/photocopiers maintenance General administration and data processing to include auditing equipment and keeping asset register updated Experience and knowledge required
A natural passion for IT Good communication skills (Written and over the telephone) A team player Ability to work independently Good time and task management skills Organised individual with a very good attention to detail Problem solving & trouble shooting Willingness to learn Windows 10 Windows Server 2019/2016 SQL Server 17 Active Directory Group Policy Networking – routers and switching Face to face and remote telephone support AV management, triage, and incident resolution. Microsoft 365 and accompanying suite of client applications The benefits of a ‘security best practice’ focused mind-set Fault finding PCs, Laptops, printers, desk phones MDM – mobile fleet setup and management Documentation, internal and end-user focused At least 1-2 years in a similar role Desirable, but not essential
Experience of VOIP Phone system technologies Subnetting/VLAN understanding HTML/CSS PHP An understanding of API technologies
