IT Support Engineer
Rate: GBP150/day
Location: Onsite - Loughborough
Duration: 6 months + Extensions
IR35: Inside (via Umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware (computers, Servers, networking equipment) and software (applications, operating systems).
Provide technical support for end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist with the administration of network and server infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and timely updates.
Help with the implementation and support of IT projects, including software updates and system migrations
Collaborate with team members and assist in preparing technical documentation and user guides.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to support continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of networking, hardware, and software components.
Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and basic troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other business applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the IT field.
Previous internship or experience in IT support.
