The Role:
Profectus are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a national market leading client on a fully onsite basis in Southend. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technical challenges, collaborate across teams, and contribute to maintaining and improving IT services.
Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with remote users and sites to enhance the overall IT experience.
Oversee and maintain IT assets, ensuring compliance with all standards.
Perform essential support tasks, including password resets, user account management, and software installations.
Facilitate IT onboarding for new starters, including equipment setup and induction training.
Regularly update and maintain onboarding documentation and build checklists.
Assist with local network management and escalate network issues as needed.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience of 1st / 2nd Line Support
A solid understanding of Windows (Ideally some MAC OS experience too), with experience in Active Directory and Office 365.
Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with users at all levels.
Full Driving Licence as role includes occasional travel further afield.
