We're on the hunt for a
2nd Tier IT Support Engineer
to join our fast-paced, forward-thinking IT Helpdesk team. If you’re a problem-solver who thrives on variety and loves making a difference, this role could be for you. You’ll play a key part in keeping our systems running smoothly while offering top-tier support to users at all levels across our UK Advantage Smollan group of companies, Flixmedia, REL UK Group and JDH Solutions. What You’ll Do: Keep it all running : Install, maintain, and support PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Ticketmaster : Own, manage, and resolve Helpdesk tickets while escalating as needed, always within agreed SLAs. Problem-preventer : Identify trends, tackle recurring issues, and suggest improvements to prevent future headaches. Collaborate & innovate : Work solo or as part of a team to test and implement new solutions. Documentation pro : Ensure policies are followed, and documentation is up-to-date. Be flexible : Occasional out-of-hours work and providing cover for colleagues will be required. What You Bring:
Customer-focused : Great customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Technical expertise :
Experience with Helpdesk ticket management. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MacBooks. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory (on-prem and cloud). Expertise with Mobile Device Management, particularly InTune. Networking (TCP/IP) and PC/laptop build & configuration experience.
ITIL advantage : Experience working in an ITIL environment is a bonus. What’s in It for You?
