A highly respected family-owned food manufacturing company based in Harlow, are looking for an IT Engineer to join their team. This extremely well-established business that has become a trusted household name is looking for someone who can be hands-on within a Windows environment and provide 1st/2nd line support to the company's users. The role is based on-site and is offering £35,000 per annum.
Responsibilities include: addressing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on a multi-site level and maintenance of all users and groups within Active Directory. There will be the opportunity to support projects, assisting with planning, scheduling and monitoring their implementation and being the first point of contact for all IT related queries.
Documentation and reporting will also be a key responsibility, through preparation of reports on system performance and helpdesk activity. You will also be supporting the management of the IT budget by tracking expenses and assisting in resource allocation.
Skills required:
- Proven experience in an IT Support within a Windows environment.
- Active Directory knowledge and Group policy.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and related productivity tools.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Experience supporting ERP systems or similar platforms is desirable.
