Your Role in the Team: As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of the action: Device Setup: Manage end-to-end deployment for laptops, desktops, and tablets. Support Expertise: Handle and resolve IT support queries and service requests with confidence. Project Work: Participate in exciting IT projects and on-site support as needed. IT Administration: Track hardware/software installations and update configuration management records. What You’ll Bring to the Table: Proven hands-on 2nd Line Support experience in a service desk role. Expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure AD. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012+, DHCP/DNS, Group Policies, and networking fundamentals. A background in an IT MSP or customer-focused support environment is preferred. Driving Licence: A full UK licence (or working towards one) is required for occasional travel. Bonus skills: Familiarity with Firewalls, VMware/Hyper-V, Backups, or N-Able would be highly desirable. Location & Flexibility: There is the option for some flexible working and 2 days per week working from home. The office is based in Poole, Dorset, where you will be required to work 3 days per week, so you will need to live within an appropriate commutable distance. You’ll also have occasional opportunities to travel to client sites within the Dorset area. Working Hours: You'll work 8 hours per day within the core hours of 7:30am – 5:30pm.
