Group Information Security Manager The Role: Step up and take ownership of IT operations at World of Books. As IT Systems and Infrastructure Manager, you’ll lead a team of Engineers and Technicians, ensuring seamless IT services across multiple locations. From end-user support to managing third-party partnerships, you’ll have a direct hand in shaping our technology strategy while driving performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. IT Operations Management: Oversee IT services and support, continuously refining processes to enhance efficiency and performance. Strategic Planning: Align IT infrastructure and operations with business goals, managing key projects and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Vendor Management: Lead relationships with managed service providers, ensuring they deliver on strategic goals. Automation & Innovation: Drive automation and implement industry best practices to optimize operations. Cybersecurity Collaboration: Partner with the Cybersecurity team to ensure compliance and protect IT assets. Who We’re Looking For: An experienced IT professional with leadership experience in IT service management, ideally within a warehouse or operations-heavy environment. You’ll be commercially minded, capable of driving IT strategy with a focus on efficiency and return on investment. Key Requirements: Proven leadership experience in IT operations and team management. Strong background in end-user services, infrastructure projects, and WMS (preferred). Commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and ensuring ROI on technology investments. Excellent communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience managing large-scale IT projects and critical systems. Our Values
