We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Team Leader to oversee and manage critical IT infrastructure within our Local Government Authority. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring secure, reliable IT systems and a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of 5+ IT professionals.
Manage and support IT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, resolving complex technical issues.
Oversee the implementation of new IT projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
Maintain IT security and performance, staying updated on industry best practices.
Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to meet organizational needs.
Ensure compliance with ITIL, data protection regulations, and internal policies.
Essential Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 4+ years in a similar role.
Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Products, Azure, Windows/Linux OS, and Virtualization.
Proven leadership in managing IT teams and projects.
Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
