IT Technician Apprentice at Gloucestershire College Vacancy Description

Your duties will include: Maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the IT system at all times; for our suite of computer labs in Cheltenham and Gloucester. Installing, configuring and upgrading hardware, software and network components. Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues to ensure availability. Providing secure services according to user and system access policies. Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware. Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting. Conducting regular backup and restore operations. Maintaining all technical documentation about infrastructure and systems. Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues. Maintaining an on-going programme of personal professional development. Undertaking such other duties as the Apprenticeship Manager may reasonably require. Key Details
