What You’ll Do: As an Apprentice IT Hardware Technician, you’ll gain hands-on experience in: Cleaning, Grading, Testing, Auditing, and Packaging:

PCs, laptops, and monitors. Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Conducting minor repairs and resolving technical issues. System Checks:

Factory default and BIOS resets, verifying Autopilot isn’t assigned to an account, and testing laptop keyboards, touchscreens, and screens for dead pixels and pressure marks. Inventory Management:

Adding items to stock using our ERP system. Shipping:

Packaging goods for delivery to customers. Collaboration:

Working with the team leader and manager to resolve issues and keeping them informed on progress. Cross-Departmental Work:

Gaining experience in other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and customer support. This includes configuring, updating, and adding Windows to devices, handling RMAs, and ensuring a clear audit trail. Policy Adherence:

Following company policies such as equality and diversity, health and safety, and data protection. Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject. GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above). Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject. You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance, you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications. commute to Ribchester

– our location is remote, so reliable transport is essential. What We Offer: Starting salary of

£6.40 per hour , with an incentive bonus available after a 6-month probation. Salary increase to

£7.55 per hour

from April. 30 days annual leave

(including bank holidays). Working hours,
