IntaPeople are working with a long-standing client based in Bridgend. Due to continued growth, they now require an Information Technology Support Technician to join their small but busy IT department. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and supporting their IT systems, and providing technical support with a security-first approach to all aspects. Your primary focus will be providing technical assistance to end users, application support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations across the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the IT helpdesk queue is always a priority and be involved in a large area of the IT estate. Essential Skills: Previous experience as an IT Support Technician or 1st line support analyst Strong understanding and knowledge of Windows operating systems, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 Experience with Active Directory and Server administration Familiarity with IT helpdesk systems and ticketing management systems Primary Responsibilities: Provide technical support to end-users (approx. 200+) whilst troubleshooting hardware and software issues Ensure IT security standards and compliance are met Assist with all IT projects, such as hardware upgrades, network deployments, and software/cloud migration projects Escalate complex issues to the wider IT support team Administrate an on-premise Windows environment AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File servers Administrate the Microsoft 365 suite in a hybrid environment Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates Role Overview: Information Technology Technician GBP26,000 - GBP28,000 depending on experience Bridgend site with 1 day hybrid working Applicants must hold British citizenship or have the ability to acquire SC clearance if needed For more information, please contact Nathan Handley (Recruitment Manager) on (phone number removed) or (url removed)
