We are looking to appoint to our IT team at this popular North East Essex academy.
Hands on and proactive, you will hit the ground running, dealing with a wide range of 1st and 2nd line support tasks. This is a busy role actively involved in supporting teaching and learning around the school and making a real difference to young people's education.
Demonstrating I.T. support experience, you will be able to bring this to our team as we ensure that the school has a reliable ICT infrastructure and undertake a range of projects upgrading and reshaping the environment.
Cyber security is at the heart of IT support, and an awareness of this and a commitment to continually developing skills in this area is essential.
You must have a keen interest in IT and IT systems, be a great communicator, be patient, supportive, and keen to learn and develop your skills and experience.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, a degree of flexibility in hours worked to support your work-life balance, the chance to make a meaningful impact in the education of our students, and the opportunity to learn and develop your skills and experience in a supportive team environment.
A letter of application, together with an application form should be submitted to Marylyn Greengrass at
marylyn.greengrass@davenant.org
by the closing date of Wednesday 5 February.
The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.
