IT Technician . Role and Responsibilities: Working part of the desktop support team, managing requests logged by users across the business Performing routine tasks including re-setting passwords, restoring files, setting up new users Help manage local area network for all sites Carry out and complete assigned IT project work Testing and monitoring of IT resources Providing reports on IT service desk calls, assets and backups The successful IT Technician must have the following related skills / experience: Essential: Experience and knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 Windows 10 & 11 operating systems Service desk experience 1st / 2nd line support Experience creating and writing documentation Experience with backup technologies Excellent organisational skills Desirable: Good understanding of Microsoft and Mac systems: Windows server 2016, 2019 & 2022 Microsoft Hyper-V platform Experience in working in a hybrid Azure AD/Entra ID environment Working with and creating PowerShell scripts Experience working with regulated ISO environment Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension Private healthcare Employees assistance programme Electric car scheme Cycle to work scheme If this opportunity is of interest, please contact Lindsay or Kate at Dovetail HRS.
