Deliver IT induction training, providing new starters with a good understanding of core applications. Deliver 1-1 and group training sessions both virtually and in a classroom environment. Create and maintain training materials to reflect system upgrades and changes. Create how to video guides. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training delivered. Maintain a comprehensive support knowledge base for use by business systems support services as well as providing self-serve help for the users. Assist in identifying future training needs within the business. Train the trainer. Communicate effectively acting as a key communicator with users, team members and the department. Assist the IS Department in delivering the overall IS service during onsite visits, including logging issues and directing them to the appropriate person, representing the team, understanding how the business utilises the system, and identifying efficiency gains. Participate in department projects as and when required. Skills and qualifications
A minimum of 3-4 years professional experience in an IT/IS training role. Must be able to prioritise and work effectively under pressure. Travel to other Shoosmiths Offices will be required. Experience of working in the legal or professional service sector and training on legal IT systems. Confident in delivering in front of an audience. Confident in delivering virtually. Able to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation. Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to their work. Up-to-date knowledge of latest training and development methods, processes, and systems. Experience of using video editing software such as Camtasia. Equal opportunities
