Apply locations: GB - Bristol - Coldharbour Lane Time type: Full time Posted on: Posted 2 Days Ago Job requisition id: R0013545 Job Description: What you’ll do as a: IT Vendor and Commercial Analyst Undertake skilled technical tasks self-sufficiently to manage assigned suppliers within a multi-vendor IT supplier ecosystem. Manage risk and compliance issues associated with supplier performance. Promote the benefits of supplier and commercial management cross functionally. Perform assignments requiring cross-functional interaction. Establish integrity in pricing models in order to ensure accuracy and compliance with standard formats. Negotiate and manage for best value delivery from vendors. Act as a focal point for customers/vendors regarding contract and supply chain issues. Contribute to the identification of solutions for areas of potential risk/opportunity e.g. sub-contract risk, liability and exchange rate exposure etc. and refer findings to senior members of the team. Draft and prepare, or review, contract, statements of work, license and project change notes in line with standard operating procedures. Contractual spend approvals within delegated authority. Deputise for the IT Commercial Manager when required. What we need from you: You will be an enthusiastic, step forward individual. Keen to take up a challenge and deliver that success outcome. You will be able to build relationships with colleagues, customers and vendors. Able to develop an understanding of domain specific markets, customers/supply chain. A good working knowledge and understanding of the specific competencies associated with commercial management is key, along with the ability to apply them with supervision and direction. Domain specific experience is not essential, but a proven ability to transfer skills and knowledge is. Flexible, resilient and independent.
