About the Role (Onsite) The Principal IVVQ Engineer will lead the end-to end integration, verification, validation, and qualification (IVVQ) activities for cutting-edge systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and quality. This role demands expertise in system engineering processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex technical projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy : Define and lead the IVVQ strategy for complex systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards. Act as a technical authority and mentor to junior engineers within the IVVQ team. Integration Activities : Oversee the integration of hardware, software, and subsystems into a cohesive system. Develop integration plans and coordinate with design, development, and testing teams to ensure seamless execution. Verification & Validation : Lead the development and execution of detailed verification and validation plans, including the definition of success criteria. Ensure all system requirements are met through rigorous testing and analysis. Manage defect identification, reporting, and resolution processes. Qualification : Oversee the formal qualification of systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Coordinate with external bodies for certifications and audits. Documentation & Reporting : Create and review technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Act as a point of contact for customer representatives regarding IVVQ matters. Skills & Qualifications Essential : Extensive experience in IVVQ for complex systems, ideally in the aerospace, defence, or communications sectors. Strong understanding of system engineering lifecycle processes (e.g., V-model). Proficiency in developing and executing integration and test plans for hardware/software systems. Experience with automated and manual test environments. Familiarity with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO, DO-178, DO-254, MIL-STD, IEC). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of team management. Desirable : Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE). Proficiency in tools like DOORS, Jira, MATLAB, or similar. Knowledge of Agile methodologies. Security clearance or eligibility for clearance. Key Competencies Leadership : Inspires and guides teams to achieve technical and project objectives. Technical Expertise : Demonstrates deep knowledge and practical experience in IVVQ. Collaboration : Builds effective relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Innovation : Proactively identifies and implements process improvements.
