Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, serving their customers through diverse business units. KBR offers challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects. KBR is looking for an Offshore Jacket Structural Engineer for a 6-month contract. The candidate will primarily be responsible for modeling and analysis of a large, launched jacket using SESAM. In-depth knowledge of operational (in-service) analyses, including fatigue and seismic, is essential. The candidate is also expected to be familiar with the latest revisions of offshore design codes including ISO 19901-1, ISO 19901-2, ISO 19902, and DNVGL-RP-C203. Experience of non-operational analyses is desirable. Similarly, the ability to perform non-linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS would be useful in later stages of the project. The role involves the supervision of other engineers, including an element of training and mentoring.
