London, Bank area - 5 days per week Job Description: As a Senior Java Developer with algo trading experience, you will play a key role in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of their low latency trading platform. You will collaborate with a talented team of developers, analysts, and traders to ensure our system meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and scalability. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for their trading platform. Implement new features and enhancements to improve system functionality and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure project goals are met. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the platform. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of professional experience in Java development. Strong knowledge of core Java, multithreading, and concurrency. Experience with electronic trading systems. Experience with Algo Trading. Familiarity with financial markets and trading concepts. Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases.
