The role
We’re looking for a talented Java developer to join our middle-office team, working on cutting edge portfolio management and collateral management solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key part in the enhancement of existing cross-blockchain collateral management solutions, building out new features for improving our borrowing/lending capabilities, and iterating on our real-time portfolio tracking applications. The environment itself is fast-paced and will allow candidates to learn about the nascent cryptocurrency industry as we expand our operations.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Java-based portfolio management applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability Work on blockchain integration for collateral management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhance existing functionality Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit tests and documentation
Technical Requirements
2+ years of experience with professional Java development Strong understanding of Sprint/Springboot framework Experience with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Desired Skills
Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines Experience with Kafka message queueing Knowledge of financial instruments and markets Experience with blockchain technologies (EVM compatible blockchains, Solana)
Location:
London – Onsite 5 days per week, with the option to work from home once per week with pre-approval. We are an in-person-first culture and believe in fostering a vibrant work environment centred around connection and community.
