Joiner - Fire Doors (Installation & Remedial Works)

Location -

(Midlands coverage)

Salary -

Circa £42/44k (Inclusive of travel time) + benefits

At NEO Property Solutions

we specialise in the installation and maintenance of Fire Doors – both timber and composite. Our work ranges from Schools, Hospitals, Sports Arena, Offices, Apartments, Social Housing, Retail Outlets to Care Homes and more.

Each day is a little different; you might be doing some remedial work on a double door set and bringing it back to regulations, installing some new intermittent strips, upgrading hinges, or installing Iron work. The next day could involve a complete rip out of an old door and surround and installing a complete new assembled door set.

What we need from you:

Reliability – first and foremost we need continuity and our joiners to turn up on site on time ready to roll.

A general capability to use technology - we record all works done on a mobile device, you’ll need to be comfortable using it (full training will be provided).

Minimum NVQ level 2 Carpentry (or other joinery equivalent).

Full UK Driving licence.

Able to pass a DBS check (remember you’re working on occupied property – so all joiners are vetted).

A positive attitude – not every day goes to plan in this crazy world, so the ability to look past the challenge and remain focused is a real benefit.

Experience of repairing and installing fire door sets (highly advantageous).

Working conditions:

Working hours – Mon to Thur 08:00 to 16:30 (15:30 on Fridays).

Generally travel up to 1.5 hours of your home (we try to keep you as local as possible).

What you get:

Ongoing support from your manager.

Workwear.

Depending upon experience, starting wages around £18 p/hr increasing after successful 3 month review.

Paid travel time after 45 mins (each way).

Company Van (saving of £5000+ per annum on average).

MediCash Healthcare coverage.

Vivup discounts on Gym memberships, weekly shopping, electrical goods, holidays, insurance, days out, cinema tickets and more.

29 days holiday including bank holidays.

To be treated fairly.

Neo Property Solutions,
