Our goal is for all Macblair colleagues to feel valued and included. The Job As a Joinery Workshop/Warehouse Operative, you will be working as part of a team providing excellent customer service. The role specifically focuses on joinery production and warehouse distribution. We sell doors and ironmongery to the construction sector so there will be an element of manual handling. Reasonable adjustments can be made if you need them. Assemble orders for delivery, with a focus on joinery and related products. Assist with loading company delivery vehicles. Working with saws and machinery to produce fire doors and door-sets. General housekeeping. Any other store or yard duties as requested by the Manager / Supervisor. You Our customers expect excellent service, but they also appreciate a friendly rapport. You should be a team player who can collaborate effectively, be resourceful, and enthusiastic. While previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial, full training will be provided. Relevant product knowledge or a genuine interest in joinery, construction, and ironmongery is advantageous. What can I expect in return?
