Workplace description: This 4-star hotel has luxury bedrooms and a stylish restaurant with fine views of the award-winning gardens. The hotel is one of Lancashires finest, private hotels and is only 20 minutes from the M6 motorway and 7.5 miles from Clitheroe. The restaurant and conservatory serve good cuisine with produce from the hotel's kitchen garden. There is also an on-site bakery for fresh bread, pies and cakes.

Main duties and responsibilities: Being a joint head chef usually means youre sharing leadership duties in the kitchen with another head chef. This setup can be a great way to blend different culinary styles and expertise, but it also requires a lot of communication and coordination. You and your co-head chef would need to be on the same page about menu planning, kitchen management, and staff supervision. Its all about balancing your strengths and working together to create a cohesive and efficient kitchen environment.

Essential criteria: You will have experience of working in a hotel to a very high standard using only fresh ingredients. 4* hotel or Rosette experience would be advantageous.
