Hahn Collections (Pty) Ltd is looking to hire a skilled Junior Data Analyst to join our Midrand offices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and a proven track record of working with complex data sets.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques; provide regular reports.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics to optimize efficiency and quality.
Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to address any issues.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12
BSc or BCom in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of data analyst experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
SQL experience (advantageous)
PowerBI experience (advantageous)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large volumes of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
