We have an exciting opportunity for a Forensics Intern to engage with and support various areas of forensic work within specialist departments in the Joint Scientific Investigations Unit (JSIU). The JSIU is made up of several specialist departments such as Crime Scene Identification, Fingerprint Identification, Forensic Firearms, Forensic Collision Investigation, Footwear, Drugs, Forensic Imaging, and Digital Forensics.

This internship is designed to provide applicants with real-world experience in forensic investigations. The internship will commence in September 2025, and to be eligible, you will be currently studying for a degree in a relevant subject and are looking to expand your knowledge in this field.

Qualification Criteria

You must be in your sandwich year (also known as your year in industry) or have completed your first year, with approval for a sandwich year. You will be studying a degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the industry you are applying for.
