This role will be covering the South-East of England, so we are looking for someone ideally located within the territory, ideally Oxford, Northampton, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, or Stevenage. The Milwaukee Job Site Solutions (JSS) team consists of experienced, trade-focused solution specialists. The team includes plumbers, electricians, and builders who all understand the demands of a modern professional job site. Our team works closely with professional tradespeople across the country, bringing expert knowledge and cutting-edge technology to ensure the selection of tools maximizes efficiency and safety on site. The successful individual in this role will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing end-user customers and investigating prospective new customers within the target sectors. You will develop opportunities for both the existing and new product range and prepare for future market developments by providing added value solutions through demonstrations and presentations. Working within the JSS team does require heavy lifting and manual handling of our tools. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage your personal customer portfolio according to the business strategy and agreed goals and objectives. Demonstrate the range of industry-specific products and accessories to new and existing customers and convert providers to the Milwaukee brand. Provide efficient solutions and technical support on the Milwaukee innovative range of products and services. Influence end-user specifications to gain approval for Milwaukee solutions, emphasizing the technical advantage over competitor products. Train & educate end users in the performance advantage and safe use of Milwaukee products. Ensure all the Company products and services are continually promoted through regular contact with existing customers and prospects and follow up leads for new business opportunities. Set relevant call objectives in CRM and plan follow-up actions to further develop and penetrate accounts. Update CRM daily to ensure a broad but detailed range of information is maintained. Maintain a high level of product, trade, and application knowledge. Liaise with the product and marketing teams and update on specific sector needs and competitor developments, market trends, and competitor activity. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events. Carry out any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager. Skills/Experience Minimum 3 years successful sales experience in a similar industry, preferably working with end users and associated distribution outlets. PPE experience highly beneficial. Able to demonstrate an understanding of the decision-making process and structure of medium to large end users within the Construction related sector. Ability to demonstrate successful Account Management skills and business growth opportunities with key decision makers. Practically minded with a technical/mechanical aptitude and willing and able to learn and apply new product or technical knowledge. Determination to build a career with a forward-thinking business. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship building skills both internally and externally. Excellent planning and time management skills. Outgoing and likeable personality who can work as part of a fast-moving and growing team. Self-motivated and able to recognize new business opportunities. Must be willing to work away from home when necessary and occasionally weekends (agreed in advance). Must be comfortable with lifting and manual handling of tools, with correct aids or/and support and posture. Some of our tools can weigh beyond 25 kgs. Full UK Driving License.
