3-months Company description: The client is a customer-based organization based in Egham, whose business is focused on the provision of high-quality installation and maintenance services. Specialising in secure area entry management, surveillance equipment and commercial door entry systems. Roles and responsibilities: Reporting to head office; day shift starts at 07:30/night shift starts at 19:30. Working in a small team (2/3 people) completing installation of systems within a high security environment (Aviation/Education sectors). Good communication skills are required to process customer enquiries and excellent customer service skills are required. Working with and reporting into a Project Manager on a day-to-day basis providing written/verbal progress reports. Conducting installations projects set by the company and adhering to current business and security procedures directed by the team supervisor. Maintenance of tools, uniforms, PPE, and other equipment that have been issued including the company vehicle. To adhere to company, site health and safety and environmental procedures. Undertake supplier and specialist training as directed for career development. Undertake any additional duties at the request of management. Qualifications and education requirements: Clean and proven employment record for security and clearance qualification. Full driving license required. Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations (Advantageous). Valid CSCS card. IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space Certification (Advantageous). Knowledge/Experience of Intruder systems (Preferred). Knowledge/Experience of Access systems (Preferred). Knowledge/Experience of CCTV systems and data installations (Preferred). Preferred interpersonal skills: Ability to work safely and carry out written and verbal instructions. Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally. Reliability and honesty are the ethos of the company. Must have the ability to forward plan and have the motivation to complete projects in the set time frame. Self-motivated/ability to use initiative. Flexibility to react within a fast-changing environment. Additional requirements: This position requires random and compulsory D&A testing.
