Junior AI Developer - Norican Group (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

We are embarking on a transformative IT journey, with AI playing a central role in our future. To support us with this, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior AI Developer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about artificial intelligence and eager to grow their skills to work in a supportive and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, and has a basic understanding of Dynamics CE (Customer Engagement) or F&O (Finance and Operations).
Professional Experience and Background
An understanding of AI concepts, machine learning, and data analysis.
Interest in increasing familiarity with Customer Engagement (CE) or Finance & Operations (F&O) systems.
Willingness to explore Azure AI services and tools.
Enthusiasm for programming, with an openness to develop skills in languages like Python, Java, or C++.
GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above (equivalent to a historical grade C or higher).
Passionate about Software Engineering, with a desire to grow and improve in programming.
Interest in developing small AI-focused projects and building hands-on experience.
Job Details:
Understand company challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to solutions.
Participate in brainstorming idea generating sessions to develop innovative AI models and applications.
Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, in collaboration with IT and the AI leadership team.
Ensure seamless deployment and scalability of AI models in line with Change deployment policies and Service Manager.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement AI models and algorithms.
Conduct thorough testing of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during development and deployment.
Assist in the deployment of AI solutions to test and production environments.
Work closely with IT teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
Research and follow the latest AI technologies and trends to propose innovative solutions.
