We are looking for an ambitious and motivated engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. As part of the Cloud Operations team, you will help to deploy, maintain, and support our product software within our own and customers' AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is hybrid and will be based in our Glasgow office.

Key Responsibilities

Setup and deploy our software into an AWS cloud infrastructure, using Terraform and Ansible. Triage, review and escalate customer alerts, incidents, and service requests. Ensure that all alerts, incidents, and service requests are handled within our agreed SLA. Create knowledge base troubleshooting articles for each alert, incident, or service request. Collaborate with our internal teams to fully support our products and services. Spend time learning about our product software, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS technologies, working towards Foundation and then Associate level certification through an approved pathway.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in providing technical support or equivalent. Willing to participate in an operational support rota, as part of our 24/7 on-call support. Experience with Linux command-line utilities such as grep, sed, awk, and top. An IT, Computing, or Electronic Engineering qualification or equivalent. A can-do attitude along with a willingness to learn and grow within the Cloud Operations team. Good attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Skills

An understanding of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Experience with scripting languages. Exposure to the Atlassian tool suite, such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Experience in the creation of knowledge base troubleshooting articles.
