Junior Contracts Manager Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 DOE Location: Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & London gap construction is proud to represent a renowned main contractor at the forefront of modern construction and refurbishment. We are looking for a motivated Junior Contracts Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious young Contracts Manager or Site Manager looking to progress in their career with a company that offers significant training and development opportunities. The role will be a permanent position, starting in March, offering an exciting opportunity to manage a variety of construction projects, predominantly within the refurbishment and modern build sectors. Performance Objectives Experience as a Site Manager or Junior Contracts Manager with a desire to take the next step in your career. Strong background in construction or refurbishment projects (either residential, commercial, or both). Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and teams effectively. Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn. A passion for modern construction techniques and efficient project delivery. Strong IT skills, with the ability to use project management tools effectively. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Person Specification Able to manage and motivate a team of site staff and subcontractors, ensuring smooth operations on multiple projects. Demonstrates flexibility in adjusting to changing project requirements and can thrive in dynamic environments. Ensures that all project documentation, schedules, and financial reports are maintained to the highest standard. Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they escalate. Proven ability to manage time effectively, balancing multiple priorities to ensure deadlines are consistently met. Clear and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success. Eager to develop professionally and take on additional responsibilities as part of a growing team.
